Roundtable on Sanctions of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP):

ILAPS and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies held a roundtable to discuss the sanctions of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) anticipated in the country. The event brought together civil society analysts, participants before the JEP, victims, international organizations, and JEP representatives, who shared their perspectives on the progress and challenges in preparing and implementing these historic rulings for Colombia. Lessons from global experiences in transitional justice were also shared, enriching the debate with comparative insights. This feedback space was consolidated as a key opportunity to strengthen collective understanding of the challenges and opportunities that JEP sanctions represent at both the national and international levels.
